Hi I am a new member and am trying to buy a CR-V 1998 2.0 manual. Can anyone help with advice do they rust, are engines good, fuel economy anything negative. Your help would be of great help. Harry

alright..well i just bought the 2.0 es auto..im very pleased with it..i was going for the freelanda but was told to keep away from them..mpg..is ok on the auto..much what i expected..when buying check the fluids..transmission.. etc...can lead to noisey rear diff......rust well you have to look for rust mine has a few little patch's on the bottom of the door inside..usual..place...but i do love my crv...
