Finally joined the club!

After months of looking, finally got myself an FRV.

55 plate, 2.0l SEV - not the spec level i wanted, but was running out of patience! Collecting the car in a week or two!

Yup, into my second week of ownership now.

1st impressions - i was a little bit disapointed because it didn't feel or drive like my benz. Felt like i was a dad for sure!

But, those initial feelings quickly passed, and now loving the practical side of the car more and more. Climate control is very nice, and the engine is quite responsive for 2.0.

Fuel economy seems to be hovering around the 29mpg mark - mix of town and m-way

got a road trip planned soon, so will have a chance to experience the car full with people.

I desperately needs alloys for it, which is proving harder than imagined. No body seems to know (inc Honda) dealers what wheels should fit from the Honda range.

Booked in for tints all round at the end of the month too.

Glad you like it - what are you most disappointed with? Most surprised with?

And did you manage to take a look at the rubber around the top oof the rear windows? Mine seem to be trapped by the glass at the top

disappointed may be a bit strong - but thought i might get better economy, plus handbrake could have been designed a little better, but i'm getting used to it.

Most like - seats, move fold easily. driving position is good, and the engine is surprisingly very responsive

but, what i'm p*ssed about is some small surface rust that i've come across. speaking to the dealer to sort it out. can't believe that this is possible on a 3.5 yr old car in this modern world!

not checked the seal, will check it tomorrow and report back

I've seen a couple of frv's with 5 spoke wheels, in a graphite colour, i think they are from a honda accord. Might be worth checking it out with honda.
If not a wheel specialist should be able to tell you what will fit.
