I have come across a problem with my Honda Accord 2.2 ICTDI. Whilst driving this morning the car began to stutter in 3rd gear like there was a sudden loss of power, I changed to 4th gear and it was doing the same thing.

It has done this before but then goes back to normal after sometime. However this time the glo plug light started flashing and the car wouldn’t pick up speed in the normal way. I read through the manual and ran through the way to reset the light which was turn the car off, wait 30 seconds and restart 3 times.

This got rid of the light flashing, but loss of power was still there in 3rd gear at 3.5RPM.

Any idea on what this is? Have you come across this before?
