Hi folks. Just registered, so thought I'd better introduce myself!

Names Dave (obviously!) and I own a 98' Honda Civic 1.8VTi MB6. Been in to Hondas for a long time now, love the bang for buck performance, reliability and quality of them! I'm on a lot of the honda forums, as is my wife. She also drives a Honda (she was into them before me!!

) and has a 99' Honda civic Aerodeck 1.6ES (so full leather etc) MC1.
Ok, Thats me and the car introduced, now a bit about what I do lol

Currently work for local council, but am looking at getting qualified in i.t., and webdesign. As mentioned above, i'm a honda nut, but have been a car enthusiast all my life. Starting out with the classic cars (70's fords mainly) I used to restore mark 3 Cortinas. My last one was identical to the one used in the bbc drama "life on mars" and it was featured in the daily record! Will always have a soft spot for old fords from the 70's 80's and early 90's, but I'm converted to Jap now!
Last year, I decided to put my love of cars and my knowlege of webdesign together and started an owners club/forum specifically for the civic 5 door models (95 to 2001). There wasnt any sites around that catered for them at the time, and a lot of the forums didnt like them because they were UK built, so decided to start my own! civic5.com has been a huge success in it's first year, with nearly 900 members, several companies on board as official traders giving members discounts, and to top it all, a club feature in Banzai, the japanese tuning magazine!!! Which was quite amazing to be recognised by such a big name in the jap car world when our civics were uk built!!! lol I also started a club for all honda cars, called hondaclub-uk.com It was going great till the database got damaged and we lost all our info

I've been slowly building it back up, and have just completed the forum redesign and installed it. Really getting good at the phpBB work now, even if I do say so myself lol.
Liking the forum here, lots of good info, and as always, loving being part of another Honda enthusiasts forum.
See you all in the forum
