hi there, i have a FRV 05 plate, it has a factory fitted stereo with sat nav, 6 cd changed touch screen unit, unfortuantly the unit has been broken due to cd's jamming, i have call honda dealerships and they have qouted me 2.5k for a replacement, i was wondering if any of you guys would knw where i could get a replacement for a much cheaper price

In theory you can get a replacement fascia for £80 from Honda, or the Autoleads one for £20 if it actually turns out to be suitable (see other threads!). The ISO adaptor with connector for the steering controls is about £25. Say it costs £150 to get it all fitted, you can probably spend £1000 on a very decent all in one double DIN unit and still have change from £1500

I'm not by any means recommending this but have seen it on ebay and might be able to help you out, I think you just need to be careful and fully check the people out.

honda can also just remove and send away for repair rough price £150-£200
