Audio Data Card

Audio Data Card

Postby Jimbob on Tue Aug 26, 2008 10:08 pm

I was wondering if anyone else was having issues with this. I purchased a PCMCIA card from jessops (£1.99) and used an old 1GB SD card that seemed to work fine. I have then purchased a 4GB (non HC) SD card to try and store lots of songs on but am havings problems with it. I am transferring files from Windows Media Player in a WMA format, but sometimes it comes up with an error (CARD - NO MUSIC) but when looking at the card on the PC I can play the music etc from the card. I have heard that the max capacity is 2GB SD card but not heard this again. any ideas?

I recently purchased a sandisk 6 in 1 adapter and 4Gb matching card for very little off e-bay, loaded 40 albums - it works fine.

From what I have read on another site I may have been lucky as this combo does not always work!! I use windows media 11, XP professional and just drag the albums onto the memory card. So far so good

The player doesn't seem to like WMA files, try saving them as mp3 and that should do the trick :D

Do any other Honda's come with this card? How would I tell if I had one of these Data Cards (or is it really obvious, and therefore, if I have to ask, it means I don't have one??)
