Dear All

New member, having just taken delivery of my FRV company car. We love it and really glad we went for this rather than the CRV

Anyway, I need a towbar fitting to tow the caravan. My local fitter is saying that I need a detachable towbar, but I have a couple of queries

1. Its £125 more
2. Its a pain to get on and off

So does anyone know if a fixed towbar will interfere with the reversing sensors?

i take its that your car already has sensors, and you're getting a tow bar added? if so, it could well interfere, hence why they suggested removable one.

if you are yet to get parking sensors fitted, then they can always be placed so they don't interfere with a tow bar
