Just wondering how badly have I been ripped off... if at all.
I bought an 2005 FR-V 2.0 petrol in May, very happy with the car. However, I realized I didn't know when it was last serviced as it came with no service book. It was now 26k miles so I asked and got a quote of 58 gbp without the change of spark plugs and 202 gbp with the change of spark plugs from a small workshop further away, and a quote of 206 gbp with the spark plugs changed from a big dealership in a city also further away over the phone. Same dealership has an office in my city, so they referred me there for the actual service.
Went in for the service (signed up for doing a 25k mile / 24 month service), after which it turned out that they hadn't actually changed the spark plugs as they aren't required to be changed at that time (the opposite what the other office told me over the phone).
Now, obviously had I been comparing 206 gbp with 58 gbp I would have gone to the smaller workshop and saved some money. I don't really know whom to blame, probably mostly me as I never got it in writing that their quote includes a change of spark plugs. I still feel unhappy about the situation.
That brings me to my actual question - does anyone have a Honda FR-V service schedule available and can say does the 25k mile / 24 month service for a 2.0 petrol engine include a change of spark plugs or not? Their website isn't useful as it lists spark plugs with the note of "Where applicable in your service schedule." and also has no service manual up for download as far as I can see.
