I have owned my 2002 S2000 for 3 years with absolutely no problems.
Recently a minor fault has developed on the alarm system, when locking or unlocking the car with the fob the indicators do not flash.
The car locks OK and the alarm is set, it is a minor annoyance, but if the indicators flash when locking the car it does reassure that the car has locked.
I have tried to reset the system by disconnecting the battery for a while.
This does seem to work but only for a small number of locking operations.
I do have a workshop manual but it does not refer to the alarm system at all.
I would appreciate any advice
