Hi,

I'd appreciate some advice on this. I have a 02 Reg CRV bought a couple of years ago. The front and rear brake pads need replacing. How much should I expect to pay for this with fitting?
Also what sort of make/pads are recommended as I've heard if you go for cheap types, they don't bed in properly and squeak a lot.

Apec make superb brake pads. They are "apparently" the only pad manufacturer that put a specific type of material in the pad, so that when the pads press against the disc and get hot they release this agent which stops any squeeling. Be sure to buy the pad fitting kit too. You'll find them stocked at most motor factors.
