Hi Guys,

I have just purchased a 55 FR-V with built in DVD Player and flip down screen, currently it only plays region 2 dvd's. Does anyone know if the player can be unlocked to play multi regional?

Hello mate - is it factory fit or aftermarket? if its the latter does it have make and model on it?

It's a factory fit, it comes with Honda operating manual. The p/n: 08A23-2E6-010. I tried everywhere on the net but no results.

hmmm...have you tried contacting a main dealer for advice?

I have done they can't help....

The car is known as Edix in Japan - may be try googling that, or some forums in Singapore - usually in english

i had a similar prob with the radio not willing to play copied cds etc- honda say this was done deliberately by honda abroad

only way round it apparently is to buy another dvd playing device and rig you current screen as a 2nd screen as opposed to the main one and it'l work fine- but its obviously more expense!
