Engine compartment

Postby gchild on Sun May 17, 2009 9:40 am

Hi, Can someone let me know what the small reservoir, with a grey cap, directly in from of the driver in the engine bay is for? Is this the brake or clutch fluid reservoir?

Also - can you check to see if the handbook recommends topping this reservoir up if the level is low, and it is normal to do so?

cheers

Busy night for you last night? See you made loads of posts!

I don't have my handbook to hand at the moment, but will get back to you when I get in tonight. BTW, my FRV never came with a handbook, and bought one of eBay from a Honda dealer. Just make sure you get the right handbook - there is one ofr petrol models, and one for diesels.

OK - here is what the handbook says:

grey cap = clutch fluid
black cap = brake fluid
blue cap = washer fluid
red cap = power steering fluid
