Hi there,

My dog recently ate one of my remote fobs, she is fine but the fob didn't fair well.

I have a spare but it's not very good as the buttons have gone soft and are pressed in. It's a 1998 CRV and the current fob is the old style rectangular two button. I bought a three button one (with boot release) and have gone through the process of re-coding it to my vehicle but with no luck. The battery is fine and I know the process I'm using is correct as it works with my current fob.

The new fob is freq:433.9MHz model Omron 032683 (I think) - is this fob compatible to my vehicle? Any advice or suggestions?

Apologies if this question is stupid, annoying or a pointless repeat, I'm new here and desperate to sort this out without having to spend £100+ for new remotes and programming at the dealers etc.

looks like you need to get it reprogramed at the dealers
