Hi everyone,

Just bought an 06 2.0 Sport, and was wandering if anyone knew if it possible to get the manufacturers roof bars fitted, and if so where would be good to get them done. The car looks that little bit smarter with them i think.

Has anyone had these fitted?

Do you mean roof rails (along the length of the roof, rather than across the width).

If so, then I agree, the car suits them, but I think you'll find the list price from Honda is around £1200 to get them retro-fitted. I'm not aware of anyone else that makes/sells other roof rails for the FR-V.

I agree they look great too! I too have an 06 sport which doesn't have them and I asked Honda a couple of years ago and they said £650 +vat ! I believe it's because all the rubber and plastic along the whole of that strip from front to back of car needs replacing too. You can still buy roof bars which clip onto the door sills though.

I got my rails fitted from new and they cost £375 - definitely make the car look better IMHO

Where did you get your rails fitted? I'm considering purchasing a 57 plate model and really need the rails. Dealer (Evans Halshaw non Honda) struggling to get me a price. Some scary loking prices on this board other than yours although I was hoping for around £250.
