hi there from a new member.

I test drove a new Honda S2000 roadster today with a view to buying. The only problem was that after I had deployed and fastened the soft top, there was a horrendous wind howl coming from the front of the top, where it meets the top of the windscreen. the dealer said it was due to the adjustable catches not being tight enough, but if they were any tighter I might not have been able to fasten them.

Is this wind noise a problem with S2000s or was the dealer telling the truth?

Hi from a new member. I also experience a lot of wind noise from my recently bought '02, with the roof up. The offside latch needs replacing. Could the very slight loss of tension be causing it? Anything over 60mph is very tiring on longer trips. Would a hard top reduce the noise significantly?
