On our first full family outing some idiot drove into the back of us, we were stopped and so was he but all of a sudden BANG! its only put some big scratches on the bumper where his number plate was sticking out. Most annoyed because my 10 day old twins were in the car.

Chap was apologetic and said he will pay privately! should I do this or go through the insurance

insurance...... just incase you get any after probs and they disappear- you'l be the one to loose out!!!

if he hit you, get it sorted through insurance to save any hastle
