Hi there - my beloved T-reg 1999 1.8 SE Accord Saloon has a problem with the Starter Motor Solenoid. According to the homestart chap that came to visit, the whoel unit (i.e. including starter motor) has to be replaced, as the solenoids don't come seperately!

Is this really the case?

I'm really not much of a mechanic and can't seem to find any answers on the web, so I'm hoping one of you will be able to offer some guidance.
