whinning noise on front passenger side

honda 2006 crv,30,000 miles regularly serviced has developed what i can only describe as a whinning noise on the passengers front side. it happens on a tight roundabout in about second gear, and turning right, or when turning right into a tight t junction. we have changed the brake pads, checked disc backing plate, power steering fluid level , clearance of mud guards and flaps, no obstructions can be found. The noise never happens when driving in a straight line... it is not a loud noise, but very annoying. whinning is about the best describing word that i can think of.... any thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated

Are you sure it is from the front ? I had a noise when turning but that was from the rear centre and was something to do with a coupling that links the front + rear axles (pont in French) that needed greasing, as soon as I explained to the mechanic he knew what the prob was

PS Bearing in mind the title, I was tempted to make a comment about wife/girlfriend being the cause ;)
